FAQ & Common Questions
How does course import work?
You import your courses in PDF format or by taking photos of your handwritten notes or handouts (from your phone or computer). Lio analyzes your documents in seconds using optical character recognition (OCR) and automatically generates revision sheets by chapter, memorization flashcards, and multiple-choice quizzes based on your core course concepts.
Are the generated sheets and quizzes reliable?
Lio is strictly anchored in your imported documents: it invents nothing and relies solely on what is actually present in your courses. The Lio coach (available with Auditio+ and Pro) can explain every answer, cite the source page, and test your comprehension without off-curriculum hallucinations.
How many courses can I import?
The free trial allows you to import one complete course (up to 40 PDF pages or 15 photo notes) to test all revision tools. Auditio+ and Auditio Pro plans then let you store and study up to 20 complete courses simultaneously, which easily covers all subjects of an academic year (and you can delete a finished course to add a new one anytime).
How does oral exam practice work?
Auditio offers two complementary ways to practice:
• Live oral exam: a real-time exam simulation where the AI examiner asks questions aloud, listens to you, and follows up spontaneously like a real jury.
• Prepared oral exam: you record your presentation or answers at your own pace, without live interruptions, ideal for polishing your speech before stepping into an exam.
In both modes, you receive an instant debrief: score out of 100 across 5 exam criteria, speaking pace analysis (WPM), filler word count, and concrete suggestions to improve phrasing.
Does the AI replace a teacher?
No, Auditio does not replace a teacher: it is your 24/7 personal practice partner. It lets you practice 10 times more, on your own, with zero stress or judgment. Speaking aloud in front of the AI eliminates stage fright and turns good speaking habits into automatic reflexes for exam day.
What plans does Auditio offer?
Auditio offers two subscription plans in addition to free access:
• Auditio+ (€4.99/mo or €39.99/yr): essential revision tools (up to 20 complete courses, summary sheets, flashcards, quizzes, 24/7 Lio coach, and prepared or live oral practice).
• Auditio Pro (€12.99/mo or €99.99/yr): serious exam preparation with intensive oral training without counting (longer 10-minute sessions, specialized juries like Grand Oral and entrance interviews, detailed scoring, and progress tracking).
Both are without commitment, with no credit packs to buy, and can be cancelled anytime in 1 click.
What is included in the free trial?
You can start for free without entering payment details: import a course, generate summary sheets, quizzes, and flashcards, and complete 2 free 5-minute oral simulations. Complete detailed scoring (score /100, 5 exam criteria, filler word counts, and actionable advice) is fully included right from your first free sessions.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel anytime in 1 click from your profile. Your access remains active until the end of your billing period, with no commitment or hidden fees.
Is my audio data stored or sold?
Never. We do not sell any data. Your microphone audio stream is transmitted live in encrypted form solely for communication and transcription. No audio recordings are stored on our servers: audio is destroyed immediately after analysis. Only your written evaluation report and transcript remain accessible in your account.
Where is my data stored and is it used to train AI models?
Our servers and databases are located in Sweden (European Union), on secure infrastructure compliant with GDPR. In addition, our AI partners are bound by strict zero-retention and no-training agreements: your courses, documents, and oral speeches are never used to train public AI models.
Which browsers and devices are supported?
Auditio works on desktop, tablet, and smartphone via Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox. We recommend Chrome or Safari for the smoothest voice recognition and audio exchange.
Do I need a special microphone or webcam?
No webcam is required: training is conducted entirely by voice. The built-in microphone of your smartphone, laptop, or headset is more than enough. Simply choose a quiet room so the examiner can hear you clearly.
